A Brief Introduction to Hatha and Astanga Yoga

Hatha Yoga exercise benefits the neurological program and is a traditional Hindu program. It is much more than an exercise for the energy for the thoughts and one's body system. Hatha Yoga exercise is more religious than actual. The sages developed it as a way of managing our lifes efforts. For the sages it was about a heavenly awareness and planning for relaxation.

The head instructor of Astanga Yoga exercise is Sri K. Pattabhi Jois from Mysore in Indian. At 91 decades of age he is still teaching and exercising. He was responsible for bringing Astanga Yoga exercise to the west 30 decades ago.

Astanga Yoga exercise has its origins in the invention of a traditional search named Yoga exercise Korunta. The search included a process of Hatha Yoga exercise established by a traditional sage named Vimana Rishi.

Emphasis is given to Vinyassa, or breathing synchronized with movement. Here, breathing is done together with exercise of position. This is a technique known as ujayyi pranayama. This process produces internal heat and causes the practitioner to sweating a lot. Thus the muscles and organs are cleaned and detoxified. Hormones are also released within one's body system and flow is improved.

When exercising Astanga Yoga exercise the correct sequence must be followed. Different series of positions are completed one after another. The primary sequence is known as Yoga exercise Chikitsa. This sequence helps to ensure that the is detoxified and arranged. This sequence guarantees toxins do not create obstructions. The advanced sequence is known as Nadi Shodhana. This sequence partcipates in the filtration of the neurological program and the unblocking of your programs. The advanced sequence is known as Sthira Bhaga. This works on endurance and adaptability.

As the asanas are preformed feeling should be focused on the efforts focused through the neurological program. Notice the power flow once one's body system has been in a position for a while. Next make a simple conversion into the next asana.

In each position breathing through the diaphragm. Do not use the chest to breathe in. Never over increase one's body system. Just relax and do not worry if the positions are not performed perfectly. Versatility and seductively is obtained over time. Keep the thoughts clear and peaceful.

It is best to do Astanga Yoga exercise as part of a class under the guidance of a trained instructor. With actual exercise inner peace and satisfaction may be obtained.
